MY APPROACH

Human behavior and relationships are extraordinarily complex. Even though we love friends, family, or significant others, there may be times where we disagree with them, and even struggle to comprehend their words or deeds. My approach to both therapy and assessment is to build on the positives and to frame negatives as useful indicators of behaviors that might provide an opportunity for change. When it comes to patients of all ages, I strive to take a wholistic approach that weighs the social and emotional impact of the issues addressed, considers the role of the entire family in an individual's health, and draws from the fields of neuropsychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and developmental psychology to provide an integrated program fostering wellness.
