Specializing in culturally sensitive and compassionate psychological services
Small moments often lead to the most cherished memories. Walking to the school bus stop in the morning with my brother, smelling the aroma of arroz con gandules prepared by my grandmother, and roasting marshmallows by the campfire with family are some of the small moments that have shaped me into the person I am today by giving meaning and color to my life experience.
But too often, the power of these small moments is lost in the tangle of stresses and pressures that occur in everyday life. We perceive these stressors to be "big problems" easily capable of eclipsing our ability to achieve feelings of fulfillment or happiness.
As a psychologist, I hope to find a pathway through the obstacles that life brings and help guide my clients back to the memories, experiences and feelings that make us feel confident in who we are. I particularly specialize in providing supportive services for attention and learning challenges as well as anxiety-related issues.
